The Uniting Church values education and learning throughout life’s journey.
Our seven schools in WA provide excellence in education for over 8,000 from Kindergarten to Year 12. Through Trinity Residential College we also nurture and support students as they continue their education at tertiary level.
Christian education for adults is offered through local study groups and discussions, connected through the Web of Learning co-ordinated by Rev Dr Geoffrey Lilburne.
Tertiary education in theology is available through our Perth Theological Hall, a leading participant in the School of Theology at Murdoch University.
The Saturday afternoon session of the WA Uniting Church Meeting began with devotions and a Bible study focussed on the renewal of the Covenant relationship between the Uniting Church and the Uniting Aboriginal and Islander Christian Congress.
The next Summer Spirit event will be held 13 to 15 February at Floreat Uniting Church. Keynote speakers include Rev Dr Andrew Dutney of Parkin Wesley College, Adelaide, and John Emmett, Mission Catalyst for the Synod of Victoria & Tasmania.
Two Uniting Church schools have accepted an invitation to partner with UnitingCare agency Good Samaritan Industries (GSI) and the results are proving rewarding for both parties.
